While in the Philippines we took a special trip to the town of Donsol.  Every year whale sharks come to this area to feed on the plankton rich water.  Whale sharks are the largest fish in the ocean and are in the shark (not whale) family.  We were able to snorkel with a number of them.  They are majestic and awesome!  You can learn more about these wonderful, gentle creatures here: http://whaleshark.org/
