Trip To China December 2009
There is a growing awareness and interest in the detection and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in China. I spoke at two conferences, one in Beijing and one in Shanghai. Healthcare directors flew in from all parts of the country. I also spoke to healthcare providers at the largest maternity hospital in China. After speaking they gave me a personal tour of the hospital. I was very impressed with the facilities, especially the private labor and delivery rooms.
